Three Sisters (Contemporary Reimagining) follows the Parker siblings (Jennifer, Molly, Lucy, and Andrew) as they quarantine together in their small hometown during the height of COVID-19 and the national reckoning after George Floyd’s murder. Cut off from the Los Angeles life they once knew, they’re forced to confront stalled dreams, societal pressures, and the uncomfortable question of whether to cling to the familiar past or face an unpredictable, shifting future. Blending humor, heartache, and raw emotional truth, this adaptation pulls Chekhov’s themes into modern America with urgency and resonance.
As producer, I supported the project’s first staging by supporting the playwright and aligning the artistic team allowing the actors to explore the script’s emotional complexity. From organizing the space to refining feedback loops, I ensured the room stayed collaborative, grounded, and artist-forward work creating the conditions for this timely, intimate reimagining to take root and evolve with clarity and purpose.
