Hogar is limited series set in Panama following Paola, a 13-year-old girl from an upper-class family who becomes entangled in a dangerous political scandal involving her uncle, a powerful government official running for president. To protect her identity and safety, Paola is placed anonymously in a local orphanage, where she must navigate a world far from the privilege she’s known. When the truth of her connection to the scandal comes to light, she cannot return home until her silence is secured setting off a tense, emotional story about power, family, and the fight to define her own future.

As co-creator and producer, I helped shape the series from the ground up developing the world, building the characters’ emotional arcs, and working with the creative team around the show’s tone and purpose. I collaborated closely with writers and potential production companies managing development logistics while ensuring the narrative remained grounded, sensitive, and intentional. The result is a gripping, character-driven series rooted in resilience and the complicated systems we’re born into.
